Please help, gel nails running

Hi everyone . I am new to doing gel polish. I recently qualified and am using a product caled gelease which was recommended at the training accademy . Nearly every set i am doing is not going to plan. After applying the colour i am finding it runs out towards the sides swamping the sides of the nails. I am getting really down hearted as they look messy. Any tips ??

What brand are you using? You could flash cure inbetween coats (this will set it slightly before your ready for your full cure) but a decent gel polish brand shouldn’t really be running like that. If your new it could be your polish application??

Is your room very warm or are you by a radiator? A warm atmosphere will make your gels more runny (and your l&p set quicker, if you do it)
If it's not this, I agree with fluffy26 it shouldn't be running like that. Are you loading too much product on your brush?
