Problem with acrylic system

Hello, really need some help and advice, I have just finished doing a course and I am using the edge gel products and the salon services acrylic as I got these with my kit.

The problem is my gel is lifting and chipping off and my acrylic is too wet no matter how much or how little I use and I can't work with it properly and This is causing it to go lumpy.

Is it me or my product and is there any advice on what products are best for me?

Neither product is top quality, but should still produce adequate enhancements. Having said that I would recommend looking at brands such as CND, NSI, OPI, Young Nails, EZFlow. Do lots of research including looking at their conversion courses, how much they cost and what kit you get with it.
