Hi guys,
I'm after some advice really! Basically I've been working as a nail technician for nearly 10 years now. I'm currently working self employed mainly within a small nail Salon in a small-ish town. It's a 50/50 basis and the salon owner buys all products as there are 4 of us working there. This works really well for us and we all share clients and make good money!
However the salon owner is going on maternity leave in a couple months and has basically said to me she would like me to run the salon and she will give me a rise. She hasn't said how much yet.....
I was just wondering what would be a fair rise in your opinion?
Thanks for reading

How can that work?
You're self employed running your own business within HER salon.

If she wants you to manage the salon, she has to employ you or you charge her a weekly/monthly consultancy fee separate to your percentage split.
