Hi,

I usually use Balmain aftercare for extensions but find whilst the bonds love it, my own hair doesn't (bleached and toned to white blonde).

I am due to have another set fitted soon and would like to use Pureology. But which range would be best for both bonds, extension hair and my own hair?

I was looking at Repair, Hydrate or Platinum?

Thanks in advance.

Actually on further looks I think the platinum is a silver shampoo range. So that leaves Repair or Hydrate range?

Any advice, anyone? Is either of these a viable alternative that will keep both bonds and natural hair happy?

Pureology is GORGEOUS on extensions. I have blonde ones and I use the platinum range. Its not a silver shampoo, its got a blueish pigment to it, but it doesnt make your hair ashy in colour, just keeps it bright and fresh. The conditioner smells amazing too.
Hydrate is also great on extensions, but my personal preference for the blonde is the platinum range

Jojo thanks for your advice :) I went ahead and ordered the essential range with the protein serum which I hope will be okay - got it from feelunique.com which I think was the most reasonable!

I will definitely have to try the platinum range now though, I guess it won't hurt to alternate them? :)

On your advice Jojo I have also purchased the Platinum range including the miracle filler treatment :)

I got the repair range today and it smells lush - like aromatherapy! Here's hoping my hair likes it ;)

You will love it! Remember less is more though, a bottle of shampoo and conditioner should last you around 3 months, and the miricle filler probably longer as you only need a light spritz on the ends. Enjoy xxx

Thanks for all your help. I'll probably end up alternating the repair and platinum, know it sounds daft but when my hair gets used to a product it doesn't seem as effective so I rotate products usually.

Good to know it lasts too as its not cheap.
