hi all!! well i have a client who i have coloured with 7.036 milk chocolate in Affinage infiniti, I used this colour on her as when she came to me her previous stylist was tryin to get her blonde by foiling her hair with bleach highlights but it wasnt great,it was never toned& was quite brassy, uneven & faded looking, her natural is between 5/6, the client decided she wanted to go back to an all over colour, she wanted a browny colour but nothing too dark cause her skin colour is pale, anyway the first time i used this shade it turned out quite nice but i used it again when she wanted it re-touched but I wasn't very impressed, i thought it looked very flat-no shine & just drab looking, the client didnt say anything she seemed happy enough but i know it'll soon be time to colour her again & im a bit reluctant to use the same again could anyone suggest an alternative shade? Id be happy to use either matrix, infiniti or wella-please help!!

What peroxide did you use it with? When colouring bleach you should go a shade darker, when colouring hair with no white hair you should go a shade lighter.

Hiya Perry-well the first time i applied this colour i used 10vol midlengths & ends on the lighter areas then used 20vol on roots, then the 2nd time i applied this shade i just used 20vol on re-growth then after 20mins or so i just brought it through to the ends.

If she's about a 6 just use 10vol on the regrowth :)

Thanks for that perry-do you think I should add anything to the 7.036 to try to make it a bit glosser or richer or do you think if I just use 10vol on the regrowth the next time I should ge a better result??

I would say 7,036 with 10% will be like a 6,036 which is a lovely rich colour do you shouldn't have any problem...let me know how it goes x
