Does anyone use just clear acrylic for full sets? I have been told it is not as durable for tip overlays. Any comments greatly appreciated.

What other acrylic would you use? Generally I always use clear xxx

I use clear unless doing pink & whites. No difference in strength as far as I'm aware

I use a nude acrylic all over if a client wants a light colour put on top as it shows the pastel colours better less patchy this way. But I find clear to be the strongest

Well most use a natural or opaque when not using pink and white.. Thank you all for every comment.

No they don't, I've always used clear rather than pink when doing french only because some pink powder can be too pink and makes the nail bed look like it's been over filed and sore. Using cover pink and opaque powders has only really taken off over the last year it so.

No they don't. Standard practice is to use clear. Clear is the best selling powder in any brand.

Generally speaking if I'm doing a natural set, I like my sheer pink powder it gives the nail a nice healthy appearance! I'll use natural for the tip & then the pink in zones 2 & 3 X
