Hi all,

I've had my first couple of clients the past few days and am stuck on how to ask them about re-booking. They're all having Gelish polish and I'm saying 'oh let me know if you'd like to re-book' but I know I should really try and leave with a new appointment for them in my diary. How do you / did you go about this when you first started? Will people message me again or should I try and book them in whilst at their house (I'm mobile!) thanks

I'm hair at a salon we just usually say 'so would you like me to book your next one? Or give us a call?' X

I normally say would like to book for two weeks now? And if they say not now I send a little reminder a few days before they are due and they usually book there and then x

As you are giving your aftercare advice on whatever treatment you have carried out this should automatically lead on to asking if they would like to book their next appointment.

When I first started out I asked if that particular appointment time was a time that suited them and and would they like to reserve it as a preferential customer.

"Shall I pencil you in for the next appointment?" or "Would you like to rebook for two weeks or three?" are easy questions to ask at the end of a treatment. Don't make the mistake of adding "or would you rather just call" at the end though ;)

I always say it as were taking the bill 'shall we book your next appointment?' 'Do you prefer 2/3 weeks' they'll soon tell you if not,
Apparently over 70% of repeat booking is getting those appointments booked in before they leave,
