I thought this could be done but I've just been told no it can't??

It can be done it's just re- tipping the extensions with a new bond X

Is that somethin my salon should be able to do as they told me it can't be done x

Yeah they can do it but A lot of hair extensions technican's don't re tip them because it takes a lot of time so for them it's probably better if you just buy new hair. So that might be why there saying it can't be done. It's really easy to do u just cut off most of the old bond and then apply a new bond don't know why they'd lie and say it can't be done lol X
Maybe message some hair extension technican's around your area and ask if they'd do it x
