I bought some Kamisori scissors a couple of years ago but not overly impressed with them as I find not very good for point cutting and sometimes bend dry hair even though they have been sharpened. What do people recommend for a good 6" scissor ?

It depends on the type of blades. Scissors aren’t necessarily a one size fits all tool.
For instance, bevelled edges are better for dry cutting (doesn’t slip) and convex blades are suited for slicing.

This is a good website that explains the basics about scissor blades and has lots of choice of brands.

My favourite pair are my Jaguar ones that I bought about 5 years ago and have had sharpened. You do need to get them sharpened by a scissor expert but the big scissor brands usually offer a postal sharpening service.
