Hi,

I have red hair atm ( majicontrast (red) & majirel 6.66 ) I love it, but am getting tired of it fading after one wash!

So would like to go a diff colour.

Either a mahogany, or just a brown ( goldeny brown ).

I was brown before but very dark! I don't want to go back that dark, as I don't think it suits my skin tone as nice as the red or a light colour.

Which colour would you's suggest would go better over the red? And be most achievable out of the mahogany and browny?

I was thinking about using richesse 5.5 (mahogany) and some kind of brown? Would this be ok?

Thanks

Are you a hair professional ? Your profile doesn't say anything

I qualified 5 years ago, but didn't take it up as a career hense why i'm asking for a bit of help :)

A 5.5 might be quiet bright over the red depending how vibrant it is at the moment. Maybe a 5.32 to create a more 5.5 finish as you'll be adding some gold and iridescent. I can't remember what mavue is but perhaps something like that will help.

If dont want too reddy, richesse 5.25 is really nice rich colour and some of the red will still shine through.]
Or if you still like the red and just fed up with the colour fade. loreal hav brought out new colour conditioners that act like toners to rfresh colour and there is a red (tone 6) that you could try.
