Hi all I’m mobile and had a client this week that had red L’Oréal 6.60 and thick blonde bleached highlights ( very yellow due to porosity and previous colour being a box dye)
Customer has just messaged to say she’s washed it and all red has run into the blonde [emoji85] don’t know what I was thinking just trying to give the customer what she wanted [emoji849]help [emoji1317] any suggestions

Did you speak with her prior and educate her that this was a possibility in general especially with high porosity? Best shampooing + water temp tips? There is nothing wrong with giving the client what they want, as long as you educate to "CYA".
I would recommend she tries using a detox shampoo a few times and see if that "pink" washes out of the blondes. However, it's not gauranteed.
Anytime I put blondes and reds together, i use foils, and rinse out the reds with cold water really well first and then tend to the blonde to help with the blending while shampooing down the line.

Thank you yeah I told her about the cold water as cool as she can bare and the shampoo she has is a colour save and have told her it may bleed ,we have been messaging and thank fully she admitted that she didn’t know what she was thinking wanting those colours and would rather have her root colour on to cover the greys and soften with a warm balayage I said I’m happy to change it and charge half price ! I just think the red is such a beautiful strong red ( which I will use again on its own as never used L’Oréal before [emoji173]️ ) it will keep bleeding xx
