Hi I'm nearing the end of my level 2 and I have a potential client who has rainbow colours in her hair. What is the best way to remove these ? Obviously this will be done when we are allowed to return to the college so I'm hoping the colours will have more time to fade. I know a few colour removers tend to turn direct bright colours to completely different colours depending on the undertone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You need to use a specialist direct dye remover, not a normal colour reducer.

I can recommend Malibu C DDL (direct dye lifter)

whatever you do, don’t use bleach!

Oh don't worry I won't I was told about a 10vol peroxide mixed with equal parts purple shampoo, bicarbonate of soda and washing up liquid but I don't want to put anything like that near it.

I've not heard of Malibu C DDL but I will be sure to look it up! Thank you !
