Need advice on rent a chair on flat rate bases or on comission for hair stylist.

For me it would depend on salon location how long the salon has been open and if the salon was busy xx

I would say of the stylist already has her own clientele ready then rent her a chair of not pay her a wage :) x

i work on 50 percent split but the shop was already well established when i started and it works really well for me.....

Yeh I've heard of that too - works great if the shop is already busy and replacing another stylist etc.

Thing is a busy stylist can make over £1000 a week pretty easily so still works out a happy ending for all involved :D

Your stylist will stay because he/she makes a good living and you as an employer also make a nice weekly cut!
