OUCH!!
Keep what is left of it short short as possible - disinfect regularly & lots of Solar Oil to help with healing & keep it clean - you will have to wait for it to grow back I am afraid - you poor thing:hug:

there is nothing left of it
all that i have is exposed nail bed. its sooooooo painfull. i sprayed it with sanitise and covered with a sterile dressing.
should i keep it covered till the rawness heals???????

Sounds like the best thing although I am a strong believe in air and solar oil..make sure it doesnt get damp though

oh that is crap!
The best thing is air indeed don't cover it cause it will soften and moisture so a good 'crust' (don't know what it is in english) will come on the bleeding area so it can heal better.
Take's a long time till it grows back, sucks.
Anyway if you are doing nails cover it with a sterile bandaid and put a glove on or while doing other things that might be infectious

Oh that sounds so painful. I dont really know what advise to give you, but hope it heals soon.

my son lost his whole nail took about 3 months to grow back but its as good as new now, we did have to cover it up thou because he kept getting it dirty.

dont know how im going to manage to do nails while its so painful.
i'd rather go through labour again than put up with this pain.:cry::cry:

Lol really? Guess your in ALOT of pain lol. I really hope the pain goes away soon, have you taken any pain medicine? Anti-inflamatory tablets should be able to help you a little.

 I feel for you!

How did you do it? Were you wearing your nails really long?

Hope the throbbing has stopped by now. Follow the advice above ... Especially the use of SolarOil which really does help both with inflammation and healing.
