I have seen people use a safety bit to remove gel. Does anyone else do this? Carbon bit? Which kind of bit? Thoughts on this ladies thank you in advance

Safety bit is amazing. It helps you remove the gel polish while at the same time it protects your skin and cuticles from being hurt even if you accidentally touch it on them.
It is carbide yes. Only downsize is the max you'll find is medium coarse which doesn't really help with removing enhancements (takes too long a time). It's good for removing gel polish and refilling enhancements though.
I got mine from Todacusa and I couldn't be happier, although I discovered another supplier that I'll try next. Here are the links:

Why not just soak off the gel polish?

If the client has enhancements why would you want to soak off the gel polish, the acetone/remover will likely affect the enhancement.

Didn't say the client has enhancements.

The post was just asking about removing gel polish with a safety bit.

If there is an enhancement then of course using a bit would make more sense.

Good point sorry I was looking at it from an enhancement point of view, not gel polish on natural nails

Lol no problem :) totally get it!

:)

YES! Never use it on natural nails. It's too coarse and it could harm them.
I only use cuticle bit on natural nails and that's only on the cuticle line

But which one ladies. Carbide or which one should i purchase?
