I bought some flip in hair extensions which I love at a special show price of £130 for 12" human hair extensions, to find they only retail at £99-£104 anyway!! The price was special alright!! This is false advertising surely? I feel conned! :( what would you do?

Have you got your receipt? Ring them up and tell them you're not happy with them and want a full refund, I'm pretty sure you're within your rights and they have to honor that regardless of your reasons.
I did wonder if I was really getting a bargain paying £76 for my Parlux 3800, I've resisted looking at the mo.
I think it's disgusting we paid a lot in my opinion just to get in the place , all prices should be trade! Let us know the outcome?

I saw them there. They were doing a roaring trade weren't they! It's disgusting that they did this. Deffo see about getting full refund.

I had a phone call yesterday and had the £30 difference refunded :) one happy lady! Now I am going to treat myself to patrick Cameron bridal book with the money :)

I bought a pair of passion scissors for £150 looked online they retail for around £109 - that place is a rip off charging us £24 to get in I'm never going again!!! Over priced stuff and half of it full of cheap Market type stools :0(

I got ripped off last year £180 scissors and I still can't manage to use them, they make a weird kind of sound when they cut hair!?

this year though I invested in some new BIG heated rollers, a normal set too, by diva, some global keratin brazillian blowdry stuff, new brushes and a big Moroccan oil pack!
spent a fair bit, but it's all worth it I think :)
xxx

I think its probably worth sticking to well known brands there, especially when it comes to scissors and things like that.

Is passion not a well known brand? I was told they were :) x

ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1319222222.732790.jpg I have to say I always find it better to research what I need first & find out prices. I always carry my iPhone so I can compare prices first before making a purchase. Needless to say there is nothing to be gained by ripping people off as it will come back to haunt people.

I did go on the Saturday & I wondered how it w going to be due to the economic climate & if I am honest I came away thinking people were fairly upbeat. As I go every year without fail - one tends to notice who is there exhibiting and who isn't. W quite surprised to find that Tigi were not there as I always like to purchase their books/dvd's and maybe a few products. Anyone have any ideas why they were not there?

i felt a bit let down to be honest..

i thought London.. WOW... this will be an experience

but i went to pro hair live in Manchester and found that was just as good, but on a smaller scale.

i thought i would find the latest must have product, but in the end i was sick of seeing yet another stall selling brazillian blowdrys isn't this old news already. i have been doing them for over a year..

sadly i wont be going again =[

i`ll just stick to my local area i think and in salon training x

Maybe as they are now owned by unilever!?! They think they don't need to be at things like this....good riddance personally I feel nowadays they are just a greedy company.
