Hi all does anyone have a terms of agreement for self employment I could look at please? Or even some bullet points to consider?

I'm looking at presenting the salon owner I rent from with a contract of sorts. Just so that there are no surprises and we are singing from the same hymn sheet x

Cheers all xxx

All you need is a rental agreement stating you are a separate business. That's about it.

Normally it would be the salon owner providing an agreement not the other way around.

Sounds like an excellent idea to me.
Either party can offer up a draft contract and then both parties can negotiate the terms before signing the finalised version. In fact, if the owner is a bit lax, it makes good business sense to get something in writing if you're worried about them acting in a way that's detrimental to your business.

If your arrangement includes the owner providing products/services such as a receptionist/laundry services etc. then it's obviously a good idea to include these terms in the agreement.
