Semi-perm make-up

Hi there! I am looking for some advice regarding semi-perm make-up. I have had my eyebrows done in Dec last year and I was really happy with them, although already some parts are fading to pink. As far as I am aware, they were done with the finishing touches brand. I heard off a family friend that there is a better brand of ink that doesn't lose its pigment and doesn't fade to this pinky colour. Is this true and if so does anyone know what this is called?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
