Shampoo/conditioner for coloured hair?

Hi all,

I have had my hair coloured red since December and was using the John Frieda shampoo and conditioner range for red hair. I didn't feel like it was doing anything for me but had heard good things about the Loreal red hair range.

Whilst getting my hair coloured yesterday I asked the stylist if she could advise me on a shampoo and conditioner I should be using and if the Loreal one would be any good. She told me that any shampoo/conditioner that promises to keep colour in or stop it fading is pretty much useless, especially as my hair is coloured red.

So I'm not sure what shampoo and conditioner I should use now? Bearing in mind my hair is also chemically straightened.

Hello.

Wella do a colour recharge range, which is pigmented to keep your red, red. Look for a salon that sells this and get the shampoo and conditioner, or order it online.

You are definitely better with a professional product, perhaps your stylist does not know this.

Matrix colour range is amazing shampoo and conditioner purple sticker on a white bottle also they sell a spray lotion in the collection it's amazing xx

I use matrix colour care shampoo.

I have 6rv and crazy colour on mine and it doesn't fade as fast as a generic shampoo combo.
