Has anyone had any problems with the led shellac lamp? I brought one last year and it stopped working this April so I got a replacement and now the replacement is making a weird buzzing sound when I use it.

Also a quite a few clients nails are lifting of (including my own!) this doesn't normally happen so i am thinking could this have something to do with the lamp? I use all cnd shellac products and this hasn't happened before.

What else could it be or do you think it's the lamp?

I have the same light. I bought last year but the wire broke then I got it replaced in July this year and I am having major lifting issues with gel and shellac. I thought it might have been the bonder with the Brisa gel because we have had a couple of bad batches. I was wondering if the light unit was faulty myself.

This is the fourth post I've seen within the last week about the CND LED lamp. I recently just bought a lamp and as I was using it it malfunctioned, made a loud screeching sound and the fan quit working I wasn't even sure if I should keep my hand inside. They sent me a new lamp immediately but I have to say I am not impressed

I bought the new lamp last month and am having lifting issues but no noises from the lamp ...does nt happen every client tho ....cud it be the lamp not curing ?

That's exactly what is happening to me. My light isn't making a noise but the first one I had, the fan was always making a noise. It seems like most of my clients are great but other ones are a total mess. Some of them are lifting within 24 hours and all 10 off within the week. I am totally confused. Changed product and went back to uv light but still have issues. Wish I knew what the issue is.

Do you have an educator near you? If you think the problem is your lamp, why not speak to them and they can test it for you?

Not close to me but I did talk to one from Ontario and she sent me out the UV light and some new product. So I thought it must be the product because I am still having issues.

My shop uses Brisa gel and we have had a couple bad lots of their liquid bond. They recalled it. So I switched to new pots of gel and liquid bond but the same product Brisa gel. Just different batch lots. I have been using this product over 10 years but the last year and a half has not been good. Major lifting issues.

I know this may seem a daft question but are you buying the lamps from a CND supplier? I have seen CND lamps on eBay for around £125 which I was told are copies.

Yes they were $350 plus tax canadian. One of my techs did buy one off ebay $180 including tax and shipping and it came with CND warrenty papers that she registered on line. The other 4 of us have them from the suppliers
