Hi ladies, no baby yet.

I've got period pains on & off, & have been passing what I think is the mucus plug, rang the hospital to check & described it & the midwife said yes she thinks that's what it is.

So I'm just now patiently (impatiently) awaiting his lordships arrival x

My waters broke this morning at 38+6, I just stood up to go make a cup of tea & I felt something warm trickle out, felt my pyjama bottoms & they were soaked, left it for an hour & it happened a small amount again, so I phoned up for advice she asked me to come in for a check up.

When I went in I had an examination & there was no mistaking the water coming out, she even got my husband up the other end of the bed to show him lol, my cervix is also 4cm dilated, but I have no pains? I'm just odd ! Lol.

I'm still having fluid loss now but apparently that is normal & it can continue to happen every time baby moves because the movement releases a little more fluid, so now I'm at home being told to rest & I'm off in at 10am tomorrow to be induced. xx

My little boy was born this morning at 6.31am by emergency c section, after failed forceps delivery & failed ventouse delivery, I've also suffered a degree tear inside he was back to back the whole labour & he just couldn't come down the birth canal for some reason, I tried my best but It just wouldn't happen.

After 12 hours of established labour they finally took me to theatre were the assisted delivery methods failed & were I was given emcs.

Here is a picture of him, he weighed 8lb 0.5oz.

10 years waiting for this little guy, it hardly feels real. Xx
