Sorry don't want to sound like a drag, but is there any reason why having dark on the bottom lid so popular ? It seems to be every mua in my local area, it's just so far down, is there a method behind this madness ? X

I see that a lot too and think yes it photographs great but surely must run a bit throughout the day leaving under the eyes very dark?

Mac medium deep msf and
Mac gold deposit on cheeks

Lips- rimmel cappuccino liner
And Mac lipstick in yash.

Is anyone finding their photos don't look like the actual makeup? I had a wedding trial on Sunday and the makeup looked gorgeous and the client said she's never felt so beautiful ... But the photos look utter crap and don't show the beauty of the makeup one bit xx

What are you using to take pics. Mobile can phones are bad...
iPhones are the worst!
I actually invested in a dslr camera and use a macro lens which is ideal for head shots and it picks up detail amazingly

It is an iPhone I'm using I also have a Samsung digital camera which is good for most things but not for makeup detail think I need to invest in a dslr aswell but it's just so expensive for now xx

Yes exactly the same ! It does look nice on photographs, but just thinking on nights out after 1 drinks 2 many, heat in a club + sweat I'm thinking it may not last or get that dreaded 'I've had 1 2 many' looks lol X

Hello!
I've only just qualified as a mua and I'm really struggling to get nice photos that show off the makeup. I actually feel like it negatively affects my portfolio.. anyone else have this problem and any tips on solving it?
I actually have to get my clients to send me selfies but half of the time they stick filters on them and thats a nightmare too.

Also I'd love a little feed back (I'm aware I'm nowhere near perfect so please don't judge too harshly) these are my first two clients selfies.
& finally, does anyone else use mehron celebre? I love the stuff but find that a few clients have been put off because the brand isn't instantly recogniseable. Anyone else have this problem too? xox

I've been seeing this a lot. I'm not a fan of it personally. It looks good in pics but That's it I think. x
