Skin wearing away

Hi beauty geeks, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some product advice?

My skin on finger pad area just keeps wearing away (pic attached). The skin underneath keeps cracking (doesn't bleed) but it just doesn't grow back. I've been using aveda hand cream at night and I'm now using germolene to try and repair/stop cracks. Been like this since start of winter.

Has anyone dealt with anything similar or got any ideas what I could try?

Stop using the aveeno, I used to get this but it flared up using NSI but switched brands and not had it since. Go to Drs they will prescribe you some cream for it and won't be as sore! Feel for you I used to hate this happening
