Hi, I was wondering some brands you'd recommend for good skincare.

I know dermologica is a salon brand. But is clarins, Clinique, benefit and arbonne? These are the only brands I know salons round here use. But you can buy them in department stores.

The last 4 brands you named arent salon brands.
The following are salon brands- Aspect dr, sothys, payot, skeyndor, thalgo, algologie.... i could go on all day

I'm guessing they aren't salon brands because you can buy them from department stores?

Yes they are just counted as a cosmetic over the counter product because they dont have the standard of active ingredients and other benefits that the skincare you buy in salons have. They just sit on your skin and do absolutely nothing due to the size of the molecules in the ingredients they use except make it feel moisturised. Waste of money.

I think mine is - Monsia Skincare.

Clarins is also a Salon brand and they do a range of professional only products. The others you mentioned are not.

You need to look for professional brands to use in salon - Clarins is a salon brand so is Dermalogica - both are sold in selected department stores - with Clarins they do have Clarins spas in some stores where customers can have their professional treatments, Dermalogica do not have any skinbars that offer the professional treatments - they refer to salon stockists for treatments. Other "salon" brands are:
Molyneux skincare, decleor, Elizabeth Arden Pro, Skinceuticles, Environ etc there are loads of different brands but it depends on what your looking for in your skincare ?

If I were you I'd go to pro beauty show and look around & ask questions x

I'm assuming the OP is asking as a consumer as this is in the Ask A Pro forum.
