I work from home in a converted shed and i have sky tv in my home not my salon. Ive just been cut off from sky because they are saying i need business package and i need to pay there rates also they sent me a letter saying i can be done for fraud. Im really upset and ive rung sky up but they keep passing me to different departments and no one can give me any answers. Has anyone else had this problem. I have emailed them.

Assuming you've not got the cables through to the salon, then I can't see how you need a business package.

Write to them informing them that you only watch the Sky tv in your home and that by cutting you off, they're in breach of contract.

Don't bother trying to resolve the problem by phone as they'll give you the runaround and you'll probably run up a big phone bill as they're notorious for their premium rate phone lines.

I would google the email address for their CEO & complain to him. Theres a lot of home based salons now so potentially it could happen to any of them.

I don't think anyone goes to a salon to watch tv.

I'd be wondering how on earth they found out you work from home too.
