Slightly embarassing question for all you tanning geeks!

I have tanned lots of ladies who are 18+ my largest being a 34. She took a few months having her nails done before trusting me to do it realising that I would not judge her. My belief is that none of us are perfect. we all feel self consious about a part of our body. A beautician size 8 or otherwise will not judge you because they a) have their own hang ups and b) see that much flesh it all merges into one and c) if like me most therapists seen that women are beautiful and entitled to treatments no matter what hang ups they may have.

Have a consultation first at the salon you intend to go to, or have a couple of treatments with a therapist and find someone who does make you feel comfortable. I am sure although nerve wracking the first time you will be amazed at how comfortable your therapist makes you feel and how fantastic you look with your new tan.

You know we all have imperfections! It doesnt matter what size you are, if you have varicose veins, stretch marks or whatever. Any professional spray tanner will NOT look at your body and think anything other than doing her job which is to give you the best streak free tan possible. Ring them up first and ask questions about the tan. If she talks you through how to prepare for your tan, what to wear for the tan before and after, you will get a feel for her general professionalism and if you are going to feel comfortable in front of her. I once tanned a lady in shorts and t shirt cos she thought she was too big to show her body off. She came again and again and each time would allow me to see a bit more of her until eventually she went topless and had normal underwear on and I couldnt tell you anything other than what a great day that was for me - to see her with the confidence to stand up and be sprayed without covering up unduly. Go girl get sprayed!
