Iv come over from skin to ask advice from you hairdressers. My hair is bleached and is straightened every day and gradually all the hair around the sides of my face has snapped and is reAlly short. I currently use the l'oreal absolute cellular repair shampoo and masques and also the Same heat protection cream and oil for split ends. I'm also trying not to use straighteners but stills have to cool blow dry.

Any recommendations of good products?

You should find a style for at least 6 months where you do not have to do all of this heat and blow dry daily. It won't have a chance to grow back if you are constantly abusing it every day.

I try to only use heat on my hair once a week.

That's the trouble :( it's impossible to find a style without heat as it goes frizzy. I'm down to about once a week with hair straighteners but cool blow dry the sides to try to smooth out

Believe me, I know. I've been there. I went all last summer without using a hair dryer and just letting it air dry. It really helped A LOT.

You just have to experiment and find a style that works. Find something to help with frizz. You'd rather have healthy hair than burnt hair. There are far too many women walking around with weird combed over bangs because they have burnt most of the front hair. Now that is not a good look.

And learn to do a blowout without a straightener. You do NOT need both. If you learn to master a good blowout once a week, it will help a lot. A good blowout does not need a straightener after.

Depending on the damage you make be able to have a keratin treatment - we use goldwell KeraSilk and I love it- basically removes frizz for up to 5 months. It needs to be ironed in so you maybe not be suitable for it.

Before I had this I used TAMEFRIZZ by kms - it's keeps hair straight up to 3 days.
