Just have to post this as know you will all understand as dont think hubby really gets it!!

I was 'supposed' to be on Creative L&P conversion today in Loughton but instead was in an ambulance at 7am this morning and let out of hospital at midday.

I had chest pains and they were worried it was my heart. Long story short they did numerous tests and have decided that like everything else when they dont know "its a virus".

All i could say in the ambulance as they were shutting the doors was "I am missing my training!!"

I have been so looking forward to it for ages and was going to OSNS too as have loads of bits to get and been besides myself to get some new solarbalm.

Anyhow, wonderful Tracey is going to sort something out for me.

Just wanted to share this with you and maybe you could even cheer me up by donating some points to my measly lot I have at the moment.

I know the main thing is I am ok but lets get things in to perspective - Creative is so much more important than health - i jest.

Thanks for listening
xxxx

Aw you poor thing, I totaly understand. I would have freaked if anything had come between me and my foundation course, I was sooo excited after i booked it I could hardly sleep.

Michelle - Babes, glad to see you've got your priorities straight! - joking apart your health is THE number one priority - we all take too much for granted
Take care and relax
KxXx

P.S. You're mail box is full so I have Emailed you

take it easy shelly. xxx

Hope you are feeling better. Good to hear that your course is being sorted out. Creative are very helpful, I'm sure they will take your situation into account & sort something for you. Sent you some points, if you don't ask, you don't get!

Hi, I know where you are coming from , but your health comes first and foremost!!
I actually had a student today (thought she had posted this at first!!)who was very ill at the weekend and ended up in hospital, but wouldn't stay for more tests, and was told to come back to-day...and argued with the doctors that she had a "nail course" today and couldn't come back!!!:smack:

Compromise was reached and she attended hospital 1st thing this morning and then came to class late, this morning....and I made sure she had caught up by the afternoon, but honestly I would have hepled her out and made sure she was up to speed with the rest of the students.
We Educators are human and understand when an emergency happens.

I hope your health improves, and you will enjoy your course all the more when you finally attend.

I went to one of my courses with serious food poisoning! Managed to get through the morning but got sent home after having to run out of the room in the middle of a demo to throw up :o . I really struggled but I wasn't gonna miss my course!

Thanks everyone!

Got me thinking - i wonder what the most extreme thing someone has done to get to there course or to do a clients nails?

Where is the furthest someone has travelled, or has someone overcome something to do it, or been really ill, or cancelled an important meeting/event etc.

Come on admit it - who is the most extreme tech?

i remember when i was doing my masters - i had been in hospital for an op, when the surgeon told me i would have to stay in for a few days, i told him straight "ill only have the op, if you let me out the following morning, as i have an important exam " (this being my masters), anyway he agreed as long as i felt ok, which i did, i attened my exam, with catheter still in place and an awful bag strapped to my leg, i felt great, and i even passed
