I was reading through old posts and saw one saying it would be great if Creative would make a candle that smelt like Solar Oil so that the whole salon would smell nice.

Well I tried this quickly and it works, I have a little burner that you fill the pot on top with hot water, then you sprinkle into the water any perfume oil that you would like(only a few drops). Then you light a nightlight candle underneath the pot and it keeps the water hot and steam comes out bringing the smell of the oil. I put solar oil in and it works!

Just a thought

Yum Yum Yum !!!!

What a great idea!! Well done hun!! i love the smell of Solar Oil! I could use the Solar Speed Spray as Air Freshener if it wasn't so expensive! LOL!

Sounds great! Can't wait to try (just wanna check does anyone know any safety reasons for not using solar for this?...don't really want a solar explosion all over my walls LOL)...heck I hope it's fine because I am loving this idea! thanks Caz xxxx

Mmmm sounds fab, cant wait to give it a go.

Yes this sounds a good question to ask.

I am talking about the oil burners, you have a large top bowl that you fill with hot water. Then you would just pour a couple of drops of this oil into the water very little.

Then you will have a place at the bottom to put your night light candle under the pot of water this just keeps the water hot. Make sure you fill water up now and then else pot will burn dry but my pot hold the water all day.

My friend did this and I think the worst that happened her burner cracked as the heat had no water to burn so it had to go in the bin.

If you think of it the flame is no where near the oil my burner has a big top with a lid the lid has holes in so that the smell can go out of these.

We can only see if anything is said about doing this.

I threw my last burner away purely for the reason that I was worried I would forget to keep the water topped up...now I wish I hadn't because for the smell of solar through salon or home I would just be extra careful...gonna buy another as long as no one posts any reasons not to try it...I can't think of any at the mo :)

hi there my only concern with using the solar oil in the oil burner would be using it near flammable liquids. in the salon environment you would have a lot of vapours that could ignite.

I wouldn't use a burner in a busy nail salon anyway ...a flame would cause me too much worry with the public around and u r right lots of flammable chemicals....I maybe would in a beauty room...I am thinking more for MY bathroom ...pure solar heaven lol x

Oh yes I was thinking in my Kitchen, hall Living room so the house smelt good when the clients walked in sorry I would not sit this in my Cellar where I worked.
