I am currently looking to start a nail course and am completely confused as to the best way to go about it . The two suitable options I have come up with at the moment are Essential Nails - starting with the gel nails and maintenance course OR The Nail Academy in Norwich - the Complete Nail Technician 4 day course which covers manicure, gels, acrylics, silk etc....as a complete novice I don't know which is the better option. I realise that whichever I do I will need lots of practice, but any advice on which is the better route for the longterm would be gratefully received. :wink2:

Hello Tracey ,

Ive heard a lot of people mention that they have tried an essential nails course and could not get on with it as they didnt have atutor there to help them if they were needing help.I run a beauty academy and would recommend that you have a tutor there to help you .

Chelmford maybe to far for you but please feel free to PM me if you would like more details on the courses I run

Take care

Thanks, it's good to get different view points. It's very kind of you....I will get in touch if I have no joy in Norwich :)

I recommend CND training all the way, you're far better learning one skill at a time in a face tio face environment IMO. Sweet Squared are responsible for CND education in the UK and here is a link to their website Locations showing where their training academies are.
