Hi Guys!
I have had my hair-extensions in for nearly 2 weeks now, however they seem to be really sore! As this is my first time with extensions i am unsure whether or not this is normal! My head is constantly sore and it's even uncomfortable when i tie my hair up.:(
Also when i tie my hair up you can see the glue bonds and when i leave my hair down it is quite obvious that i have extensions in as they don't seem to blend in!
I am a hairdresser but have never trained in extensions so any advice on this would be appreciated thankyou.

No it's not normal. You should be unaware of them after the second day. The sectioning maybe messy, or too much hair in each ext, or too much tension. Also not placing them hanging straight downwards makes them uncomfortable.
You need to go back to the salon and tell them. If they are not looking good, they need to sort them out.

Hiya, yep i have had a few girls come to me for removal with this problem. one even said the salon had told her to use paracetemol for first week of fiitting which was shocking! Its all down to weight distribution if that isnt right the hair isnt supporting the bond therefore resulting in breakage and even hair being pulled out, there should be no discomfort atall with new extensions only perhaps first night but after that should be ok. if it continues for too long, personally i would take them out as they could be causing damage. tell the person that fitted them you are not happy and show them any red bumps that have come up as this is a sign of pulling too x

:) Aw Thankyou for getting back to me! Yes i do have little red bumps at my hairline. To be honest I can't wait to get them out of my hair:( .
Thanks again
xx
