Splinter?

I have black marks in my nails, like thin lines. Ive been told they are splinters but they cannot be got to down the nail. Please help? N x

hi there,
theses are tiny little blood specks, that are in the natural nail groove. These happen when we bang or hurt our nail, a bit like a bruise.... it will grow out in time, please do not poke or prod them to get them out. Let nature take it course
