Over the past couple days i'v been thinkin about doing a spray tan course, in Newcastle. I only really want to take it up as a part-time hobby as im at uni, maybe when i've finished uni i would think about doing it more often as a mobile company if i have enough clients.
I've been looking into Sienna X, would a home kit be suitable for what i need? I dont want to spend loads as i dont know A-whether i'll be good at it and B-Whether i'll get loads of customers.
Also does anyone know if i'll need insurance to do it? As i say i dont work in a salon i would just be doing it in friends and friends of friends homes.
Please help! Thank-you!

Hey, you will need to obtain insurance. The Beauty Guild are on here and their insurance is around £85 for 1 year.

Hi Emma91

Spray Tanning is a fantastic little business. Obviously with everything there will be times when spray tanning will be in high demand (for example it is now the beginning of the spray tanning season) and times when it's not like in the winter it tends to be a little quiet.
Doing it while at Uni could be a really good little money earner. You should do a bit of research and find out what the rates are in your area. You could be charging anything from £25 up to £45 for a mobile spray tanning service.
Spray tanning is very easy and quick. I'd say you should be fine after doing your first 6. Once your confident in your technique you could sign up to an agency which will assign you with jobs and hopefully that should give you regular clients.
You definitely need insurance, and I'm sure that the course you do will provide you with insurance information.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.

Good Luck x
