Hi
I have been reading through some previous threads about receiving some free spray tan solutions sample.
I am a mobile spray tan agent and am currently using laurens way as I really like the tan, but I am really keen that I want to provide my clients with a good range of quality products, and obviously want to test them before I purchase and use on clients. I want to have a good knowledge of the products.
Can anyone tell me some companies which are willing to provide free samples, as I have got a lot of no's so far or replies telling to me to purchase the trial packs which is a bit disheartening

Look forward to hearing from you all

Google search Spray tan solutions and email each company.. I got loads! From what i can remember LA Fake bake St tropez, viesha, tan solutions and a few organic company's sent me samples. Many company's do not have the time to reply so include ur address In the initial email. X

Hi Danielle

Thanks for your help again. I have spent most of the morning doing exactly what you said, and have emailed loads including the ones you have mentioned, so I am very excited to see if anything arrives in the post soon.
Had a reply from nouvatan saying that can't provide free samples already
I have been very polite in my emails and explained I am a have a growing client list and want to provide a great range of products and provided my address so fingers crossed.
I will update if I get any and the results after I have tested them.

I got alot off free samples in different percentages I was so excited opening all my free parcels :p you will get plenty off replies I bet! Remember it's a weekend alot off companies may be weekday only :)

Fyi -
Just had a reply from brownbitz, again not able to provide free samples but you can purchase trial packs

Hi Danielle
Yes I am hoping some companies will be able to help, I am genuine and not just trying to get free stuff. I am trying to really push my mobile spray tanning and want to be able to provide the lastest products and know about them before I use on clients.
As we all know everyone's skins is different and everyone likes different things so I want a good range.

Can I just point out that these solution manufacturers get hundreds of requests for samples and most have had to start charging due to the fact that people just send a blanket email to every company going to get samples. I think if you're serious about finding a new solution, research a couple of popular brands on here and pay for a sample pack ( which often provides a sample large enough to tan several people). We wouldn't want to see some of our favourite brands go under because they gave away so many samples would we!. When I switched from Fake Bake I researched a few brands (based on what my clients tend to like) and looked at recommendations on here. I then personally contacted those companies by phone so they knew I was serious about switching and not just sending a blanket email, and I paid the few £'s it was to get a decent sized sample.

Not having a go, just pointing it out from another point of view that why would you rule out trying a company because you have to pay for a sample? The chargeable samples are normally the best solutions, the free ones are often free because the company is still trying to get business and build up.

All I'm saying is don't rule out a company just because they haven't sent you a free sample.

Free samples I got were:
LA Tan
Fake Bake
Suntana
Tantrix
Sunless Solutioons
Viesha

Paid ones:
Nouvatan
Brown Bitz
Fresh Indulgence

I agree with the prev poster don't rule them out because you have to pay it is only a small amount and you usually get more solution than you do if they are free. I would also advice not overloading yourself with samples (as I did) as it can confuse you even more and make it harder to make a decision. I chose Brown Bitz in the end because I liked the colour, fade off and they also do smaller bottles of solution (300ml) so when I was starting out I didn't have to fork out for lots of litre bottles.

Hope that helps a little
Gemma x

Thanks Gemma that's great appreciate your info

Appreacite all input..........

At the moment after paying out for all my kit, machine, disposables, advertising etc money is a bit tight so purchasing samples will be on my list once my bank account looks more healthy ha:lol: and in the mean time should I receive any free samples that is an added bonus

I am more than happy with the current brand I am using , but keen to stay on top of the market and have knowledge all round etc and been fully up to date on brands, results and use myself as the dummy run.......as this is what clients expect i think
I am keen to grow my business as much as I can and any help along the way is most appreciated
I will be attending beauty shows etc as well to gain full market knowledge, so I will be putting the work in :lol:and hope to reap the results ha
