Hi there,

I'm a newbie, only joined today after stumbling across this site whilst researching & you all seem so helpful so hoping one of you can help me out.

I'm looking into Spray Tanning Courses in view to becoming a mobile spray tanner & confused is an understatement

I have so far narrowed down to Sienna X, Fake Bake & Nouveau:

In your expert experience which of the above are best for both training, kit etc. is it more profitable to stick with well known brands such as Fake Bake as most people would have heard of them.

Looking forward to hearing your recommendations :D

This is a tough one as normally I'd say try a few samples to see what tan you like the best but as you haven't trained yet you probably want to buy a start up package.

Personally my machine is an hvlp ts20. I bought it about 6 months ago after my piggy machine broke. I love it. It's compact but powerful and I'm only using 35 - 45ml of solution. It is excellent value for money. I bought mine from LA Tanning as they where the cheapest for it at that time.

The ts50 or hvlp 5008 is the bigger version of the ts20. It is supposed to do tan after tan.

The solution I use is Baby B Browne. I have sampled a fair few tans and this is my favourite by far. The customer service is first class. It's a fairly new tanning company so you my not have heard of it yet. They do a self tan which you could try for colour, etc.

I find the brand of the tan doesn't matter so much if you believe in it and love it, it comes across to your customers when your talking about it.

I don't know if I've been much help.

Thanks Tobl55 - I will have a little look at Suntana

Thanks Sarah123110 - brilliant advice, Nouvatan offer 2 kits, one has the Ts20 & the other the TS50 - bit of a price difference so it's good to hear from someone with experience on the TS20

Xx
