sticky after waxing

Morning Everyone

Is it normal for the client to feel sticky after a wax using honey warm wax on the legs and under arms?

I would say it's pretty normal. With the best will in the world, it is very easy to leave tiny bits of wax residue on the skin.

However, a good way to combat this is to apply oil at the end of the treatment, either with the hands then blot or wipe excess with a tissue or paper waxing strip, or just pop a bit of oil on a cotton pad and wipe over.

I believe if you put a light coating of talc (dab on with cotton wool) on the skin first it helps.
I've never done it myself, but one of my clients told me she'd had it done before.

This does work and so does a light layer of oil. I used to use talc but now use oil. :hug:
