I have a suspician I have an answer for you but before doing so could you tell me how much solution you use for a fully body and how far from the skin do you hold your gun?

hey hope you do have an answer 4 me :) i am using between 150-200ml and spraying meybe bout 2 rulers sizes away tht 2 far ?

Have you not been trained in spray tanning? You are using way too much solution and are too far away from the client.

Hiya,

If your using a HPLV gun the nozzle at the end should be vertically when holding the gun upright. Also you are getting whats called back spray when there is too much airborn particals of liqid in the air that should be reduced when the gun is set right but also could invest in a filter for the back of your booth. You should be about two foot away from client but make sure they are stood at the back of the booth so the gun is level with the entrance. You always get some sort of back spray if you dont have a ventilation system in place. Hope that helps xhx

Do you mean the gun should be 2 foot away from the client or the therapist should be 2 foot away??

You are basically using 4 times more solution than you need to be using and seemingly its vaporising into overspray....so the cost of your application is somewhere in the order of £10 verses £2.50 it should be costing you...how much are you charging I wonder?

:idea:You are not here to spray tan the room ...just the customer would be fine lol

Ok so turn the output dial right down and get the gun closer to the skin...8in is good and keep your movements flowing and maybe even speed up:wink2:

Spraying closer to the skin uses less solution by far and doesnt produce anywhere as much over spray

Given how much you are using and the mess to the room its making...inves less than £100 and go on a spray tan course refresher..it will repay itself in a matter of weeks at the rate of saving you will make through using less

HTH and good luck
