I wonder if there is any advice out there, I have recently trained as a Beauty Specialist and now what to add extensions to my treatment list, I don't know which are best - any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Jacqui

Hiya...xx

Adding Nail Enhancements to your menu would be a fab idea..I think Nails and Beauty works very well together.

Have you had any training...? cos this would be the best place to start....find a company that offers all of your requirements ie...training...products...cost...local...on going support ... on going education...etc

The main systems are L&P (tippically known as Acyclic..although all systems are), Gel and Fabric.

Which system were you interested in..?

You have come to the right place for help and advice cos with so many members on here if 1 person don't know the answer another one will...HTH xxxx

Hi Jacqui. Do you mean that you want to train as a nail technician?

If so, then I'd recommend Creative. Why? Because I did a lot of home work before I decided on a company and I feel it was money well spent. The training is brilliant and they are world leaders in their field. More importantly, you're only a phone call away from advice and troubleshooting solutions. Also, it will only enhance your business to say that you've been trained by them.

I can only comment on Creative as I haven't trained with anyone else. However, loads of geeks on here have trained with other companies and have had excellent results.

Good luck. xx

I have had no training and its which system to choose that I am struggling with ie. gel, l&p etc. just wanted to know what the general feel was.

I have also trained with creative and i done acrylic. I have heard that acrylic is a little harder to master than gel but after doing it gel isnt as hard to do if you would like to offer both. Hope this makes sense! I would go with acrylic first but thats just my opinion. A lot of people do gel only too so they will probably give you some advice too!
