I've heard so many negative things about 'THE' hand (that being the rubber nail art hand that you buy before you can afford the Nail Trainer) that I just had to get one to see how bad it really was ...

Well, I was pleasantly surprised ... it wasn't so bad at all - in fact, I would go so far as to say that if you haven't got the spare cash for a Nail Trainer - I would buy it !!

Lovely long nail beds - though somewhat narrow and tremendously DEEP sidewalls (resembling a nail with paronychia ... I'm CERTAIN that's the wrong spelling - but you know what I mean - the thing that happens to (ME !!) the nails when the cuticles and side walls swell up due to too much nail art experiments etc .. lol).

Anyway, all in all I would recommend it - it was easy enough to sculpt and tip - as shown in the picture below ...

So ... 'thumbs up' to the economical hand !!

Vicky xx :0)

Ooh, Vicky, your nails are fab, hun! I love the french with the little circles of coloured glitter - how did you do it?!

I have one of those hands, it's actually pretty neat to work on. I used to double-sided-tape full well tips onto the fingers first, as nails, and then work onto those. Haven't got it out in a while but I might well do tomorrow!

Hi there,

I too bought the economical hand as i couldn't afford the nail trainer! :o

It is the exact same one too, I can tell due to the wonky middle finger LOL!

I haven't used it yet (apart from terrorising my husband, daughter and dog!) :D

I was just wondering how you remove the tips?

ta!

xx

If you stick tips onto the nail bed to form a whole nail to work on, then use double sided tape and they are easily yanked :D off.

If you tip directly onto the nail bed of the plastic hand, not too sure how you would get them off??
