hey there, i was going to learn with a women from laindon hills who says she is with city and guilds and has been for 19 years, however my freind got her hair done by her and she had to take it all out send it back for a refund, and still hasnt got nothing.. aparently she has done this for a good few years now and done it to many girls,

the course was a micro ring course with weft bonding put in for free for 395, 195 of that being paid upfront for kits etc... rest on the day in cash? i asked to pay through paypal as its safe, she refused and wants it in cash in hand?

anyone know of this person, i will not name. if so should i trust her?

Are your instincts not screaming that this is a bit dodgy?

Cash in hand is not normal for training! if her own clients are unhappy, then erm, what exactly will she be teaching you?

at first she said fine to the paypal deposit etc then today, all seems to change, i didnt know it was her at first untill it clicked, now iv confronted her, she will not answer lol, all her stuff is all over the internet...

i would go with a reputable training provider , have a search on here there will be loads about different courses,
i would steer well clear of any "cash up front " places , it sounds very odd !!

She sounds really dodgy, I would be extremely suspicious of anybody who demanded cash up front. I always give my customers the option of paying their deposit via paypal although i've had a few who insist on paying me cash which always suprises me as I certainly wouldn't hand over any amount of money to someone I didn't know and have nothing to show for it.
I agree with the previous post, go with a reputable company, Habia have a list on their website and there are plenty to choose from.

Hth :)

Hi there,

I'm in Chelmsford and had 1-2-1 training with Lush us in my own home for not much more than that, my model paid for hair, so helped. I also trained with Balmain at the wholesalers, for less and there's was only 2 in the class, they also do a 1-2-1.

Definitely go with reputation x
