whats the best and worst. oh and cost...

do you really need to spend approx £2-300 for a good pair?
 
I personally saved myself that money and learnt to slice through and chop into the hair at the root to remove weight, this way you can personalize it more for your client and it gets you away from thinking oh I've got my thinners, same with straightners I get my blow dry perfectly straight I dint rely on them to do the work. But I suppose you can get a good pair for 100-150 from what my HATES have said, HATES are hairdressing mates lol x
 
I spent £60 on my current pair and theyre really nice to use. I personally think cheaper is better with thinners within reason.

I havent decided whether i prefer double toothed or not =/
 
My thinners were £55 but I hardly ever use them as I use techniques shown to me in training with my normal scissors as blue has mentioned above :)
