Toner lifting natural hair

I've been using Elgon Tonalight for a few months and it's been fine
Really nice toner giving a great finish.

I use the demi permanent and the last few times I've used it, the natural hair is lifting and going brassy/ginger colour/tone.

I don't understand since I am not doing anything different ?

Can anyone recommend some nice toners to use instead please ?

Redken shades eq doesn’t lift used with the correct developer! If your using a Demi the cuticle with open hence revealing warmth x
