On my clients wanting to go grey, I been lifting them to a level 8~9 from level 2 (Asian hair) then toning them with the Kenra SV rapid toner to cover the yellow left. (I usually try to lift it to a 9 but sometimes there are resistant areas leaving some spots as level 8). Then I apply a mix of 7SM with violet booster at the base and 8SM/10SM at the ends.
What other toners have you used with happy results on level 9 yellow before adding in Kenra Silver Metallics? I have read in other threads about colorsync 10V. Up to trying different brands too
