Hi!
I had my hair done a few weeks ago. Double processed blonde and toned with Wella 9.16. My hair has since turned very brassy. I purchased the Wella 9.16 with the Wella emulsion. I have never colored my hair at home but this does seem easy enough. Is there any reason you think I should not or do you have any tips?

My hair is normally red.
First pic is my hair now and second pic is right after I left the salon and the color I am trying to get it back to.

I'm afraid toning is anything but easy. It's all about levels and neutralising. We also can't give advice to non professionals

Just buy a good salon quality purple shampoo and use it every 2-3 washes.
The cheaper drugstore shampoos are usually crammed with cheap bulking detergents so will strip your colour more quickly.

Thanks. I just purchased the fudge blonde toner shampoo. Hopefully that will help. I have watched videos on YouTube some put it on towel dried hair and some put it on dry. Do you have a recommendation?

On dry hair it will be stronger, I would suggest putting it on wet hair first and then you will know if you want it to have a stronger effect by putting it on dry

It’s lighting - one is taken in daylight one is taken in artificial light
