I'd rather take on a mortgage and buy the premises rather than pay off someone elses mortgage and that way I have something to sell for my hard work as well. That has always been my plan but is unfortunately looking like a dying dream at the moment with the recession.
 
Recessions don't last forever. I recall sitting in a (normally) busy salon in the west end in '89 with not a single client all day. All power to my boss that he never laid anyone off. It got better, then it boomed and we all moaned about being too busy.

I really really hope this happens again as i dont know how much longer i can go on like this
