Hi,

I'm currently looking at a career change and I am thinking of training to become a beauty therapist. I have been looking at courses and there are so many it is hard to know which course is best and what they all mean.

At a local beauty academy, they run a ITEC beauty therapy course )intensive full-time for one term) and from this the following qualifications would be attained:

Upon successful completion of the practical & theory exams you will recieve the following ITEC Diplomas:

* ITEC Level 2 Beauty Specialist Diploma
* ITEC Level 3 Electrical Facial Diploma
* ITEC Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology and Holistic Massage
* ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Epilation

Would this qualify me to become a beauty therapist? Is this better than an NVQ? I don't want to spend a lot of money on a course that won't qualify me!

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi Hun I know its all very daunting!
what is your main goal?
will you go to work for a beauty salon?
or work for your self?
are you mobile?
will you want to do beauty in this country (England?) or else were?
and lastly how old are you? I know this sounds a weird question but trust me it is relevant then I may be able to help you XXX
