I'm new to this forum, so hey!

I'm a newly certified nail technician (with gel not acrylic) at an accredited school in my area, the best course that my area has to offer, and we learned to use multiple brands.
(light elegance, magic, young nails, fuzion, and amore I believe we're the main ones we used) but we've been told we can buy any of the brands we want and use them. (Not just the ones I listed)
The more I look around this forum I see people talking about getting certified in the specific brands, and I just don't get it! Haha, what's the benefit of being trained by a specific brand?

The main reasonfor this is because every system works differently, for example some acrylics require a wetter bead ratio whereas some need to be drier, to get the most out of your chosen system, brand training will teach you how to use that system specifically, teach you how it behaves, troubleshooting and tips and tricks that maybe missed during generic training.
