hi new to this site,

i have been looking for about 3 months online for home study courses in nail tech as i have 2 young children going to college is not an option at the present time, i am quite confused as to the amount of courses that are offered and the prices are all over the place, i want to do a course that covers all aspects of nail tech, and get the right qualifications to become a mobile nail tech or work in a salon, if anyone has any advice on were i should go for my course or any experience of there own it will be much appreciated thanks :)

I can't imagine studying nails at home, or any other beauty treatment for that matter. I understand childcare can be tricky but the beauty world is hands on - not something you can learn on your own very well.

Contact Sweet Squared.

Try Essential Nails. They do a range of courses that you can do at home, taking as long as you need and use a nail trainer which is great for practising on. They also offer payment plans to help those on a tight budget.

Once you have got the basics under your belt and the children are at school or pre-school, you can always look for conversion courses covering specific products.

I use Harmony and NSI products these days but started with Essential Nails whilst I was on maternity leave as I couldn't commit the time required for attendance type courses.

Good luck.
