My girlfriend is just about done with cosmetology school and she pretty much has everything she needs. For her clipper she has the Oster classic 76 and I bought her all the blades for them already (except the 00000 which I am going to get for her). Her birthday is coming up and she bought the Wahl classic peanut cause of its size. She doesn't like it very much and it is sure a lot louder than most other trimmers.

I want to buy her a new trimmer that is small since it's easier for her to maneuver but she doesn't want anything cordless.. Look for ideas and suggestions. Not worried about the cost.. just want something that's great quality.

Bump.. Anyone have any information? really appreciate any help..

Do you know why she's not keen on cordless?

I use the Wahl Belissima cordless Clipper and matching Trimmer.
They're plenty powerful although I might use a corded Wahl clipper on very strong affro hair.

I prefer cordless as you can manoeuvre them much more easily when doing detailing. If she's likely to be cutting hair for friends & family at home, cordless is very handy as some people don't always have electrical sockets in the most convenient spots.

Anyone else have any input... could even be cordless I guess.. just looking for the best trimmer for cleaning up around the neck, ears etc...

I have an Oster Professional. It's a little silver one and it works like a champ
