Hi all,

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section I'm new here

I just wanted to ask.. I want to buy either cnd, bluesky or gelish and also the lamp for it, but I just read that there's shellac and then theres a gelly one and they need different lamps. There are also different watts

Can someone tell me which lamp I need for cnd, bluesky and gelish please and how many watts?!

Firstly - do not get bluesky - it's a knock off!!!

Your best bet is to have a search hun using the search facility. Shellac will ONLY cure with the CND 36w UV lamp, you can't just use any old 36w for shellac!
Gelish will cure using 36w uv or an
Led lamp

Have a little search hun, there's hundreds of threads :) xxx

Have you had any nail training ?

No i havent had any nail training before

GlamourEyes11: Iv had a bit of a look in the other threads, but im a bit ocd with this sort of stuff haha i need the perfect answer.

So gelish and bluesky can be cured with the 36w lamp? But for cnd u need the proper cnd lamp? But u can use the cnd to cure gelish, blusky etc? Am i right.

I dont understand the difference between gelish and blusky. Is gelish like a gel and blusky is a fake shellac..?

I found a 36w lamp on ebay for about $20 and i thought it was too good to be true! Will that work?

You can buy Bluesky Shellac and Bluesky Gelish I believe. They're both knock-off products so don't go with them.

There are so many threads about this, have a search and then a good read through.

You'll need a manicure qualification to buy/use CND Shellac, I think this is probably true for Gelish too but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes you need a manicure qualification to buy both shellac and gelish.
